IIIT Hyderabad admission in the M.Tech PDM programme is offered through four channels. Admission to these courses is offered to startup professionals and Industry/self-sponsored candidates as well. The entrance exam accepted for regular admission to this programme is GATE and CEED. Cited below are the selection processes for the different channels of admission to the IIITH M.Tech PDM course.
Candidates for admission in IIITH M.Tech PDM course through GATE need to apply, appear and qualify the GATE exam. Once the result is out, candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list prepared considering the GATE scores of the candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be then called in for an interview. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview.
CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay. Candidates who are willing to take admission in IIIT Hyderabad M.Tech PDM programme through CEED have to apply, appear and qualify the exam. Candidates will be then shortlisted based on the CEED cutoff list as released by IIT Bombay. Shortlisted candidates will be then called in for an interview.
